Note : Do you enjoy 90s douchebags and 90s tits with your vampires? Because that's what you're getting. The second and last of a series of planned Tales From the Crypt Presents films, after Demon Knight, this takes a lighter tone and goes heavy on the nudity and gore, with a weirdly put together cast including Dennis Miller, Erika Eleniak, Angie Everhart, Chris Sarandon, and Corey Feldman, as well as William Sadler in a tiny cameo. The "humor", such as it is, isn't much to write home about, but the practical FX work is very solid, some of those tits look almost real.
Some guys revive Lilith, mother of all vampires, and subdue her with the key from Demon Knight. Later, tremendous douchebag Caleb has a fight with his sister Katherine, then goes to a bar where a strange man tells him and his friend about a brothel hidden in a funeral home. When they go there, they're forced into a coffin that seems to go into a crematorium oven, but in reality takes them into the brothel, where more douchebags are doing the naked conga. However, even though there are a lot of tits, all is not well, because the brothel is full of vampires, and run by Lilith, so they promptly end up with their hearts eaten. Katherine, for some reason missing her brother, hires a private investigator named Rafe to track him down. Rafe figures out that the brothel/funeral home is associated with a TV preacher named J.C. Current, and also fucks up so badly the vampires now know his name and address. Katherine is kidnapped, Rafe ends up in the hospital with Whoopi Goldberg, and the resolution of all this involves Super Soakers filled with holy water, high-powered lasers, and surprising amounts of graphic gore.
Not a fantastic transfer, but as telecine transfers go, which I think this is, about as good as it gets, with decent sharpness, fine contrast, ok grain, and saturation mostly under control most of the time. The 5.1 and stereo tracks sound fine, and the commentary track is decent enough.
Hot tip Quote:HeVK torrents always have lots of keywords. Try searching for “hevk sexploitation” for more T&A, “hevk vampire” for more sucking, mostly of blood, or “hevk 90s” for more from the decade when models with their tits out was the height of edginess.Screenshots Mediainfo Code:General : Matroska / 9.7 GiB / 1 h 26 min / 16.1 Mb/s
